We've highlighted other promotions & incentive programs that USPS® is running this year, and the next one starting July 1, 2023 is the Reply Mail IMbA Promotion.

This latest promotion is about streamlining your reply mail processes utilizing Intelligent Mail® Barcode Accounting (IMbA), Qualified Business Reply Mail™ (QBRM™) and High Volume QBRM™.

But what does all of that mean?

Intelligent Mail® Barcode (IMb®)

Intelligent Mail Barcodes (IMBs) contain 31 digits. These denote the two-digit barcode ID, the three-digit service type (STID), the 6-digit mailers ID (MID), the 9-digit serial number, and the 10-digit routing code.

What is Eligible?

• First-Class Mail® Single-piece Qualified Business Reply Mail™ letters and cards

• First-Class Mail® Single-piece High Volume Qualified Business Reply Mail™ letters and cards

✔️ Review the STID on your pieces to ensure they qualify

• 708 — Business Reply Mail by ZIP (basic/nonautomatic without Informed Visibility Mail Tracking & Reporting)

• 052 — Business Reply Mail by ZIP (basic/nonautomatic with Informed Visibility Mail Tracking & Reporting)

• 072 — Business Reply Mail by MID (basic/nonautomatic without Informed Visibility Mail Tracking & Reporting)

• 032 — Business Reply Mail by MID (basic/nonautomatic with Informed Visibility Mail Tracking & Reporting)

• 778 — Ballot Returns using Business Reply Mail by ZIP Envelopes (basic/nonautomatic with Informed Visibility Mail Tracking & Reporting)

3% Discount Applies to the following:

• Static Barcode — Enroll in IMbA and use a static barcode with QBRM

6% Discount Applies to the following:

• Serialized Barcode — Enroll in IMbA and use a serialized barcode with QBRM
